PURPOSE

Providing EMS Administrators with ongoing continuing education regarding pertinent management issues is

one of the main purposes of this conference. Building a strong and active professional association of EMS Administrators is the other main purpose for this program. A part of any conference is the rare opportunity to meet and network with other EMS professionals to exchange ideas regarding common interests and problems.

REIMBURSEMENT (FINANCE) TRACK

We will again offer a Reimbursement Track especially for finance, billing, and collections associates! This track will be offered concurrently with the administrators and operations tracks, Thursday & Friday, February 21 and 22, 2008. ONCE AGAIN WE ARE PLEASED TO BE ABLE TO OFFER THIS COMPLETE TRACK.

OPERATIONS TRACK

We are also pleased to once again be able to offer a basic supervision course. Administrators have requested special offerings for new supervisors and those wishing to become supervisors. So, please share this information with your supervisors and sign them up for this area.

TUITION

Registration for the NCAEMSA Winter 2007 Conference is $125.00 EARLY BIRD SPECIAL for members (dues current) if registration is received by February 12. For registrations received after February 12, for on-site registration, and for non-members the fee will be $150.00. Remember – Pre-register; you may pay at the conference.

The fee for participation in the golf tournament is $40.00 each.

Make your checks payable to NCAEMSA. Early Bird Conference registration deadline is February 12, 2008. Tuition may be transferred, but will not be refunded. Tuition includes all activities except golf. If you are playing golf, get your registration in as soon as possible so you can be placed. Early registration is important for counts for the hotel and will help prevent waiting at the registration desk. WE ARE NOW ABLE TO ACCEPT PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD (VISA OR MASTER CARD ONLY). SEE REGISTRATION FORM FOR DETAILS. The 3-digit security code from the back of your card is now required.

LODGING

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Wilmington Riverside in Wilmington for Tuesday, February 19, 2008 through February 22, 2008. EMS focused vendors play a very valuable role in our conferences. Their displays allow attendees to see the newest equipment and supplies, observe hands-on demonstrations, have questions answered and negotiate orders, prices, and delivery on the spot. SUPPORT OUR VENDORS!!!!

The North Carolina Association of EMS Administrators Winter Conference is set for February 19 through 22 at Hilton Wilmington Riverside in Wilmington. Vendors may begin setting up after 5:00 PM the evening of February 19, in the VENDOR AREA (information at registration desk). The vendor tables will be in place with your name on your table. If you need electricity, please indicate this on your registration form (charge will be $25.00 per day). Set-ups will need to be removed no later than noon on February 22, 2008.

We will be playing golf on Wednesday, February 20, at Beau Rivage Golf Resort located approximately 8 miles from the hotel. Lunch is not provided and glass containers are not allowed. Fee is $40.00 and range balls are included. Tee off shotgun start will be at 10:00 AM. Directions will be at the front desk. Golf information must be received by Tuesday, February 12, 2008. A separate golf registration form is enclosed.

Vendor registration is $300.00, which includes a SINGLE TABLE (extra tables are $300.00 each) in a secured display space, and if needed, ONE DISPLAY SPOT IN THE PARKING LOT on February 19, 20, 21 and 22, 2008. Registration fee also includes entry for ONE person in the golf tournament, two dinners, and social. Additional sponsorships are available as indicated on the attached registration form. Any vendor with additional staff who wishes to play golf or attend the other events may do so by sending payment as indicated on the attached registration form.
