(22-Feb-07) Kim Stanley of EMS Management and Consultants, Inc. has graciously shared with the Association the handouts that she used in her popular presentation on Reimbursement at this month's conference in Wilmington.  They are in PDF format and can be seen on this page.

(14-Feb-00) A national consensus has been reached on reform of the Medicare reimbursement program.  If approved, this program could go into effect on the 1st of January, 2001.  The final report is available here for reading.

Issues of reimbursement for costs incurred, particularly in the transport of Medicare and Medicaid eligible patients has occupied much of the time of the Association over the past several years.  The reimbursement committee, chaired by Beth Connell, EMS Manager for Rowan County, has delved into many of these issues.
